Memac Ogilvy and Impact BBDO lead the charge towards network of the year following the release of the first shortlists at this year’s Dubai Lynx awards.
Impact BBDO has a total of 115 shortlisted pieces of work – not including the media category – ahead of its nearest competitor Memac Ogilvy. Both are the clear front-runners so far, with Leo Burnett trailing in third. Other agencies performing well include Saatchi & Saatchi, FP7, and JWT.
The majority of Impact BBDO’s nominations come in the traditional categories of print, print craft and outdoor, with 32 shortlists alone in the latter category. Memac Ogilvy has performed best in interactive, promo & activation, radio and direct.
The media category is once again dominated by advertising agencies, although Starcom MediaVest Group has the most shortlisted pieces of work for a single media agency, closely followed by OMD.
The remaining shortlists will be released on Wednesday morning, with the awards taking place on Wednesday evening at the Madinat Jumeirah.
