Campaign’s PR Faces to Watch 2025 – Dalia Alqadhi, Senior Associate, Weber Shandwick Dubai
Age: 26
Nominated by Daniel Mercado, Head of Practice – Technology & B2B:
Dalia has made impressive strides as a communications professional while being a valued member of our Weber Shandwick community. She is quick to embrace fresh challenges, build interpersonal relationships, and grasp even the most highly technical concepts. Her enthusiasm for her work is matched by a strong personal accountability to learn and grow. Whether sharpening her editorial prowess or delving into an entirely new industry, Dalia thrives on knowledge. That mindset is evident as she proactively seeks solutions to help her clients and colleagues deliver real impact.
Career highlights
Client satisfaction and business growth have been twin peaks of my career to date. Starting my PR career with the Canadian Consulate during Expo 2020, I took on major responsibilities early on—earning recognition from the Consul General herself. Since joining Weber Shandwick, and especially over the past year, I’ve grown immensely by co-leading major PR campaigns, mentoring interns, strengthening media relations across my team, and even spearheading accounts. I’m particularly proud of our TASAWAR campaign for Snapchat, which won four MEPRA Awards in 2024.
Guiding principles
I believe in continuous growth through taking initiative and pushing boundaries. Strong relationships—whether with clients, media, or colleagues—are the foundation of great PR, which is why I prioritize collaboration and agility in my work. Above all, I strive to make a meaningful impact.
Side hustle
Since university, I have been deeply involved in mental health advocacy, launching an initiative to provide students across the UAE with a safe space to be heard and access support. Today, I continue to work with mental health organizations, raising awareness and ensuring resources reach those who need them.
