Career highlights
Born and raised in Dubai but originally from Sri Lanka, I’ve always had a passion for storytelling and content creation. I graduated from Amity University Dubai with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Mass Communication and have been in the PR field for around three years, working with brands like Dubai Holding, L’Oreal Middle East, Marriott London, Coca-Cola Arena, Al Fardan Exchange, and The Ritz-Carlton Baku – handling everything from influencer relations to press coverage and media reports.
Outside of PR, I’m a Wilton-certified cake decorator and a two-time winner of the Emirates Airline Festival of Literature’s Short Story Writing Competition. Whether it’s through words or desserts, I love finding creative ways to tell a story!

Side hustle
I’ve long dreamed of becoming a pastry chef, and baking has always been a therapeutic passion for me. I’d love to start a home bakery, inspired by my experience selling treats with my mom at fairs like Ripe Market and ARTE. This taught me business basics – profit margins, consumer needs, and pricing – while refining my understanding of dessert trends across communities.
