Karim Fattal, Group Communication Director, Leo Burnett UAE: Farah joined us in October of 2021 and immediately from the first week we knew that we had a star joining the team. I believe it’s a mix of her strong personality coupled with the passion for building brands that shaped her into the person she is today. Farah is a smart and hard-working individual who knows how to get the job done quickly and effectively. She exhibits excellent communication skills and is highly respected by colleagues and clients alike.

Career highlights

Farah started her career in production before transitioning to advertising. She worked on Absolut Vodka’s Civil Love campaign which was awarded a Cannes Lion and an Effies Award. She led the largest global Red Bull sports event: Red Bull Cliff Diving in Beirut. She took on a hybrid role by working as part of SACO’s marketing team, a total home solutions superstore in KSA, where she gained invaluable experience driven by sales and footfall KPIs. Now at Leo Burnett UAE, Farah manages 360 communication for brands like Abu Dhabi Airports, Global Village, and the UN World Food Program.

Guiding principles

Farah is outspoken and believes that everything can be done or solved through clear communication. She is very humane and doesn’t believe in barriers across departments and positions. She’s a reliable and hardworking person that prefers taking the long and hard road rather than taking shortcuts.

Side hustle

Farah disconnects by discovering the underwater world through scuba diving. Cooking and putting ingredients together come to her intuitively. She loves hosting people and being surrounded by family and friends. She spends most of her time outdoors and loves travelling local style off the beaten track to discover new cultures.
