Campaign’s PR Faces to Watch 2020 – Brice Adler, Senior account director, Apco Dubai
Age: 29
Rishi Talwalker, Apco Worldwide: Brice never ceases to amaze me. A serial networker, focused on his strengths and always invested in Apco’s interests, he is a great colleague to work alongside. Brice has the right mix of sheer tenacity and a sense of humour that gets him (and others around him) through the toughest of days. I am sure that he is on track to become one of the communication industry’s leaders in the upcoming years.
Career highlights
I have had the opportunity to work across the government, non-profit and private sector in communications. I started my communications career working as a junior press secretary in the House Foreign Affairs Committee in the United States House of Representatives. Following my time in Washington DC, I worked with the political section at Embassy Lima in Peru with the United States Department of State. After my position at the Embassy, I returned to DC to work as a communications officer at the United Nations Foundation from 2014 to 2017. In August 2017, I moved to Dubai to work as an account director at Apco Worldwide.
Guiding principles
You can’t teach a good attitude. I’ve learned that always bringing a positive attitude to the work environment improves the team morale and chemistry and improves productivity.
Dream job
My dream job would be to work for a company where I would travel the world and write recommendations, travel itineraries and “best things to do” at each destination and blog about my experiences.
Side hustle
Connecting people. After working for multiple organisations across many industries, you meet interesting people along the way. In my free time, I enjoy meeting with new people, fostering these relationships and connecting people across industries, geographies and interests in order take on global challenges we face today.
