I have been working with Danielle for the past two years and I can confidently say that she is a rising star in our field. What impresses me the most about Danielle, is that she has a passion for the business, is eager to learn, grow and does not hesitate to take on new challenges. Her dedication, ownership, and discipline guarantee a high level of confidence in her work. Danielle is a person you can depend on and enjoy working with.
Three years ago, freshly graduated with a bachelor’s in business marketing and a 3.91 GPA, I immediately found myself kickstarting my career at the newly-opened PHD Media Lebanon. As a Junior Media Executive, I was part of the team that launched the company’s immediate success in Lebanon and for the next few years, was immersed into a hybrid world of offline and digital media that each captivated me in the most overwhelmingly amusing way. At the beginning of 2021, I made the switch to OMD Iraq as Media Manager and currently relishing this role with the new adventures it brings.
Along the way, I’ve come to realize that everyone knows something you don’t. So, listen and learn. I’ve also understood that life isn’t following the script you have in your head for how things need to unravel, and that has taught me how to adapt to curveball situations.
How has Covid changed your job?
Covid has minimized the personal aspect of the job. It’s taken away the morning coffee with colleagues, the lunch break chit chat, and across-the-desk banter that enriches the work-life experience. It also made me realize that I can, indeed, say “can you hear me?” more than fifty times a day.
The piano has always been another creative outlet of mine. There’s something so satisfying about mathematical scribbles on paper coming together to create a body of symphony that can make you happy, tearful, or passionate.
