As Public Relations executive and custodian of three Marriott International brands, Melisha consistently delivers unmatched results across the resort, and has successfully overseen multiple integrated campaigns that have truly cemented our position within the market. Melisha’s contributions to the team have been invaluable, which was reflected in her promotion from intern to executive in 2023, and as she continues to connect bold PR strategies with marketing performance her 2024 results are nothing short of outstanding.

 

Career highlights

Melisha started as an intern with Marriott International specializing in public relation activities across nine properties namely. Throughout her internship, she demonstrated enthusiasm to learn, showed initiatives and took on additional responsibilities. Her strong work ethic, positive attitude and a genuine interest in the departmental goals allowed her to gain the confidence of her team. Transitioning from intern to a full-time employee represented the opportunity for personal growth whereby she has proven herself in a highly competitive industry.

Melisha moved to Dubai in November 2023 on her own in order to validate six months of internship for her Master’s in Business Administration in International Hospitality Management from Vatel Business School in Mauritius. She has an active interest in quality management
