He’s done the hard work of planning, he’s got the team trained up on digital tools, and he’s pushing us to where we want to be creative. We’re only just beginning our digital journey with him at the helm.

Tarek is a smart, sharp young man who has come in, has taken on a big challenge handling our digital work & Nissan customer experience to a new level, and has risen to the challenge in 2021/22 by putting in the time and encouraging the whole marketing team to step up and deliver more value via digital channels. He’s a star in the making.

Bio

I started my career in 2017 within a startup agency specialising in marketing management, then joined another specialising in e-commerce, and I had a great print over there and a significant growth story for both agencies. In 2020, I joined a multinational media agency as digital performance and integrated media planning responsible for almost 10 clients in 6 different industries with huge amounts of media budgets and several pitches that boosted my learning. Then finally in late 2021, I joined Nissan and participated in launching the all-new Qashqai in Egypt and the limited edition from Juke called Kiiro.

Guiding principles

Discipline beats motivation every single day, that’s the one principle that keeps me always eager to learn and explore more. 

Side hustle

I am always exploring new ways of data integration and smarter ways to analyze the data till numbers make sense for stakeholders.
