Nominated by Humphrey Davis, group head of sales and marketing: Despite being with CCI Global for just less than a year, Renee has taken creative ownership of the brand’s vision and tonality. In 2021, Renee joined the CCI as an associate creative director to bridge CCI’s creatives and key messages that meet the business’ objectives. With a combination of creative thinking and technical prowess to create immersive creative solutions, Renee becomes CCI’s creative champion. Renee’s steadfast work ethic, creative thinking, planning and execution have won her recognition from the bid team for her ability to drive the best engaging content creation practices through customized immersive animations.

Bio

I started my career as a graphic designer in 2014. In 2021, I joined CCI Global as an associate creative director to manage the brand vision and tonality’s objectives and push creatives that drive engagement of Africa’s largest BPO brand. I am privileged to have worked with established names in varied industries, from hospitality and F&B to entertainment and telecommunications. I’ve always had an affinity for any creative tool that allowed free reign. Graphic designing came naturally to me as a designer before I started discovering what I enjoy the most: creating stories and how to tell them creatively.

Guiding principles

In a world where people only care about results, I always try to remind myself to never forget who I am, and who I want to be. To become a better person and a better artist. Getting to your destination is just as important as how you get there.

Side hustle

I turn to any medium that enables me to learn more and create a better version of myself. I immerse myself into the world of NFTs, an e-commerce site, and completing my book. I am on a well-defined path enjoying what I do and being good at it.
