Bio
Equipped with a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the American University of Sharjah & Durham University respectively, Aqdas worked in different FMCG companies being associated with Brand Management, Sales & Trade Marketing. As part of the Arla Foods MENA leadership graduate program, he got varied exposure through interesting projects such as business integration of a well-known acquired brand, launching several new products based on consumer needs, & implementing a sales fundamentals tracking tool. He served as category intelligence manager & now as lead category manager is accountable for managing 3 iconic brands in multiple dynamic categories for the UAE market.
Guiding principles
My Ikigai (a famous Japanese concept for a purposeful living) comes out of a desire to look back at my career and not just be proud of the work, but be proud that I tried multiple things.
