Career highlights
Meet Karishma, the Senior Account Manager with a passion for all things marketing. From being a part of the core social team for the opening of Dubai Parks and Resorts, to working for some of the top-tier clients in the region, I’ve done it all.
I’ve been in the social media game for longer than I care to admit, but let’s just say I remember a time when “tweet” was just a sound made by birds. It was a simpler time.
But now, I’m a seasoned pro. I know all the latest trends, hashtags, and memes. I can make a viral TikTok video or Instagram reel in my sleep (which is convenient, because I spend a lot of time scrolling through social media at night).
I even have a PhD in Emojiology, which is the study of how to use emojis to convey complex emotions like, “I’m hungry and also excited about this new product launch.”
But I’m not just a social media expert, I’m also a master of multitasking. Juggling multiple accounts, campaigns, and deadlines is just another day in the life of this social media champion.
When I’m not managing a client/ team, I enjoy taking long walks on the beach (where I secretly take photos of sunsets to use as Instagram backgrounds), binge-watching Netflix (so I can keep up with all the latest memes), and trying to convince my niece to be my social media intern (she’s not very good at it, but she’s cute).
So this is me – enjoying the last of my 20s with an uninterrupted flow of my creative juices, while being extremely driven to excel in my career and make people laugh (or at least chuckle quietly to themselves).
Guiding principles
And she smiled and said, “No matter how difficult life turns out to be, I hope you’ll never give up on its possibility to change.”
Que sera, sera.
Side hustle
Practicing yoga, mindfulness, and journaling. But most importantly, connecting deeper with my spiritual self. Our happiness is built on a foundation of spiritual practice. It leads us through difficult times and grounds us during joyous moments. The adaptability to accept reality easily, is a battle half won.
