I first worked with Shahnaz when we signed her up a as brand ambassador for an automotive brand in our first year of operations, so I was delighted to welcome her to the Gambit team a few years later. She brings experience and authenticity to our integrated comms work as she implicitly understands the ins and outs of influencer marketing having lived it since she was in her teens. Shahnaz is also a humble and kind soul who has a quiet star power, which makes her all the more deserving to be recognised.
Career highlights
I studied Journalism at the American University in Dubai where I had a full scholarship from HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and started my career in broadcast on both the production and presenting side before moving to agency life.
At Gambit I’m part of the Integrated Communications team where I handle digital influencer campaigns and experiential activations, working with clients such as MAF Shopping Malls, Dubai Holding, Essilor Luxottica and more. I was proud to see my work with Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Mirdif pick up gold wins at the MEPRA Awards this year.

I believe in kindness and patience in all aspects of life. I always try my best in everything I do, and I take responsibility for my actions. When it comes to my career, I believe that patience is the key to reaching my goals because I think everyone works at their own pace. Kindness is very important in a healthy work environment as it makes communication ten times better and helps people grow.
Side hustle
I am an ‘Influencer’ or content creator with over 350,000 followers across my platforms. I started my journey in 2015 and I’ve worked with iconic brands such as Dior, YSL, L’Oreal, Alfa Romeo, Karl Lagerfeld and many more, and have been featured in top tier media such as Marie Claire Arabia, Savoir Flair, Jamalouki, Khaleej Times and MBC. I love how my full-time job is related to my side hustle as I get to see all sides of the influencer work and have a better understanding of behind the scenes.
