Campaign’s Digital Faces to Watch 2022 – Line Mansour, Communications Manager, Saatchi & Saatchi
Age: 28
May Chaker, Communications Director,Saatchi & Saatchi:
I’m not sure how to write about Line without sounding like I’m gushing. I have had the distinct privilege of watching this young lady grow and dazzle since hiring her as a junior coms executive. She now leads her very own regional account and has garnered the respect of senior clients despite her very young age. Not only is Line a prime strategic talent, she is socially and digitally native, can develop content better than any creative, understands data and implements it in her strategies and campaigns, and does it all with a creative flair. We would be so lucky if all faces in the industry had a shred of what Line has.
Career highlights
I am a marketing professional with the ability to understand consumer behaviour, challenge assumptions, identify tensions, redefine problems and generate insights, in order to develop human-centred communication strategies and solutions that are digitally native.
Following my Masters’s in Innovation and Management, I worked as a communications consultant with innovative startups in London. I then worked at Leo Burnett, managing integrated full-fledged brands within different industries – namely FMCG (Procter & Gamble), F&B (Nestle Waters, Groupe Bel) and Telco (Alfa Telecommunications). I have also spent the past year at Saatchi & Saatchi, leading on Merex Investment Group (retail) and Visa MENA (financial services).
Guiding principles
I exercise empathy in all aspects of my work and life, actively listening, putting myself in other people’s shoes and seeing the world through their eyes to better understand how we relate to each other.
Side hustle
I have been exploring investing as an alternative stream of income while learning about the latest innovations in the industry.
