Campaign’s Creative Faces to Watch 2024 – Marie Sophie Matar, Multimedia Designer, AGA ADK

Although Sophie only joined us 3 months ago, it feels as though she’s been around for a long time. Friendly, ambitious and one to embrace challenges, Sophie quickly became an indispensable team player, and a great addition to the agency pool of talents. She is a top-notch Multimedia Designer with exceptional animation and editing skills topped with an eye for details. Sophie’s contribution into the work goes beyond her direct role, as she always brings a fresh perspective to the creative process. I am happy to have Sophie as part of our team, and I wish her a successful journey ahead.

 

Career highlights

During my role as the lead 3D artist for the mobile game company I used to work for, we published a game that was a global hit, reaching 10 million downloads on the Google play store.

On the other side of things, while I was in MTV I modelled, character rigged and animated the now extremely popular “remote control” Television Ad that the MTV only ventured into to begin with due to my skills in 3D work. That also includes two consecutive Ads.

 

Guiding principles

I have always been adamant about continuous self-improvement, open-minded teamwork, efficiency, organisation, hard work, communication and most importantly determination which ultimately formed a solid foundation for my career guiding principles.

 

Side hustle

I have always had an innate kinesthetic intelligence, whether I was aware of it or not. But ultimately it materialised with my love/late discovery of crocheting. I have my own crochet business that I tend to when time allows which also shares a lot of the principles mentioned.
