At BPG, we talk about Culture driving results and Luma is a core part of our cultural DNA. Having joined us as part of the WhatNext training program 3 years later Luma is an integral part of our creative team. Her work has helped to propel our business forward in the last year. Her insight led ideas and culturally relevant insights means that she joins more senior teams on many successful pitches. When presenting she commands the room, and has the ability to bring any creative idea to life in a way that is beyond her years of experience.
Career highlights
With Luma’s passion for writing evident from a young age, she studied Journalism at the American University in Dubai, graduating Summa Cum Laude. This was followed by a Highest Distinction and Top Graduate Award from her Master in International Studies at the University of Wollongong.
She was then selected among 600 applicants to join BPG Group’s 2019 WhatNext Graduate Program, which trains and employs the world’s brightest young minds. She currently works as a copywriter who takes up every challenge to creatively tackle any client problem, winning multiple pitches and working on campaigns among other creative content.
In 2021, Luma won a Bronze Award in the UAE Cannes Young Lions competition and looks forward to delivering even more ideas and content that drives change.
