Career highlights
A typography enthusiast originally from India, Deandra was born and raised in UAE. After getting a BFA in the USA, she made her way back to Dubai and within a short period of time is working with multinational clients. She always had a passion for people and human interactions and found a creative outlet for that passion when she discovered design and its potential. She strives to create concept-driven ideas and to produce work that positively impacts people’s lives.
Guiding principles
Eventually, everything connects; people, ideas, objects but it is the quality of the connections that are key (Charles Eames). So stay curious, keep learning and work with passion.
Side hustle
When she is not staring at pixels behind a computer; she’s still creating; practising hand lettering and sketching. She also spends her time behind a lens, photographing moments exploring different parts of the city or those of her dog.
