Ruth has cut her teeth all over the region, delivering projects across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh and Jeddah. She has shown amazing flexibility and resilience across multiple projects, showcasing her creative production flair to the fullest.

Bio

Ruth’s project management expertise lies in onsite operations, venue liaison, management and logistics for artists, speakers, crew and delegates. She’s worked in music and cultural festivals and brand experience across the UK, Australia, India and Middle East.

Ruth joined Jack Dubai as an intern in 2017, working as artist liaison and management for the opening ceremony and opening week celebrations for Louvre Abu Dhabi, Reebok and adidas at Sole DXB, and has also worked in operations and guest registration for a variety of clients such as Expo School Programme, Porsche, Facebook, Dubai Airports and Uber.

Guiding principles

Ruth’s interests in delivering great work are only comparable to her interests in creating a better world. She is our regional Mental Health First Aider. Organising month-long Mental Health awareness internal campaigns, through our ‘Balance Your Inner Orange’ and ‘Jack B Good’ global initiatives.

How has Covid changed your job?

COVID has changed my job in many ways but one of the biggest during lockdown was making sure the team still felt connected. We provided weekly virtual socials to bring positivity to the office. It was a really special time as everyone was laughing and working together through mystery challenges!

Side hustle

My side hustle or hobby is to travel, sightsee and experience new cultures, food, landscapes, meet new people and sometimes just escape the Western way of living. I also enjoy running – my enthusiasm for running picked up more throughout lockdown – I just ran my second half marathon!
