Reham Mufleh, general manager, Horizon FCB Dubai: Over the course of almost a year, Sabine has taken great initiative in gaining the trust of her clients. This tough task, to say the least, has proved her vigour in making clients feel safe and heard. She has proved dedication and passion, characteristics greatly valued in the world of advertising. Sabine is adapting to the faced-paced nature of the industry, and is a fast learner in understanding insights, which is a valuable piece of real estate within advertising. Her support is crucial in strengthening all projects, and her ability to take ideas to greater heights shines as bright as her future.
Career path
My educational background in both business and psychology set me on the path I am on today. It’s the knowledge from both these fields that has equipped me with the tools to push boundaries and achieve success in the advertising world. My career was jumpstarted at Horizon FCB Dubai in 2019 as an account executive. Here I was able to learn from advertising gurus, who have set the bar for success. Since joining, I have worked alongside these mentors on diverse industry pioneers such as ABI, Citi, and NIVEA.
Guiding principes
The guiding principle I have been taught is to always speak your voice, no matter the situation. No question is redundant, no opinion isn’t important. Be loud, be proud.
Dream job
My dream job would be one that allows me to push the limits of advertising, by creating content that will have a ripple effect, affecting people and their lives.
Side hustle
Since my time at university, I have been involved with numerous volunteer and event-planning projects varying from organising food and blood banks with the Lebanese Red Cross to volunteering at the Women in Data Science (WiDS) conference. Moving back to Dubai only enhanced my passion for being actively involved in the community and contributing to the success of many events locally.
