Swedish brand Absolut is challenging the UAE’s creative community to follow in the footsteps of artist Andy Warhol.
Absolut, which has worked with some of the world’s leading artists to create some of the world’s most famous advertising, wants regional creatives to pitch their ideas based on the original brief presented to Warhol in 1985.
The ‘Absolut Articulation Art Competition’ is inspired by the Absolut Art Collection, which is exhibiting at the Carbon 12 gallery in Dubai from 3 to 6 March. A special briefing session will be held on 1 March at Carbon 12, with a trip for two to Stockholm and a gallery show of the selected finalists at stake.
The brief is to create an original work of art in any medium that is about or inspired by Absolut. All work should feature the Absolut bottle in some way. For more info, log on to www.absolutarticulation.com
