Starcom appoints first chief client officer

Starcom has promoted Louise Peacocke from managing director at PG One to chief client officer, a new role for the agency.

Peacocke will continue to report to Nadine Young, chief executive, and Jayne Roseman, global managing director for PG One, media.

In her new role Peacocke will retain her current responsibilities leading the media team at PG One, the dedicated Procter & Gamble account team within Publicis Groupe. In addition she will take on new responsibilities and manage overall Starcom client relationships.

Peacocke rejoined Starcom as managing partner in 2018. She previously worked at Starcom (then Starcom MediaVest Group) as head of digital for the P&G account from 2010-11.

She then worked at Mediacom (now EssenceMediacom) from 2011-18, joining as digital director before rising to partner.

Throughout her career Peacocke has worked with clients such as Direct Line Group, Sky, Kraft Heinz and Lionsgate.

Peacocke at PG One, said: “I am certain we will all benefit from the breadth of her expertise and dedication to delivering an outstanding client experience.” She added she was looking forward to working with Louise as “we look to grow Starcom even further”.
