Brett Ford has been named JWT Dubai’s head of digital. Responsible for leading the Dubai office’s digital agenda, Ford will report to Kieran O’Sullivan, regional head of digital for JWT MENA.
Ford joins JWT from Emirates, where he managed the online brand communications business as digital communications manager. Prior to that he worked in the UK as director of communication innovation for DDB on the global McDonald’s account and was previously with JWT London as board account director and head of digital for the Kellogg’s and Bayer global accounts.
“The calibre of expertise Ford brings to the table together with his diverse skills set in technology, innovation, strategy and creative vision, mirrors that of our worldmade philosophy,” said O’Sullivan. “His acquisition is on the back of a very successful digital year for the group and Ford will play an integral role in our aggressive digital growth plans across MENA in 2013.”
Ford said: “Over recent years JWT has really built a strong digital team with some of the best talent in the market. They have won numerous new accounts with an increasing desire to focus on digital.”
