AYA has developed an animated spot for the Al Basama Al Beeiya Initiative with the hope of raising awareness of the UAE’s ecological footprint. Using a paper-cut-out animation technique executed by London-based Asylum Films, the desired outcome is to get UAE residents to recognise the scarcity of natural resources, to understand the environmental implications of their lifestyle, and to inspire people to reduce their individual footprint.
The initiative is under the patronage of HE Rashid Bin Fahad, Abu Dhabi Global Environment Data Initiative, the Emirates Wildlife Society – WWF, and the Global Footprint Network (GFN).
