When we first interviewed Shannon, the whole team was wondering why a finance major was switching into the PR field. But I knew that this was his true calling and that his personality, his hard work, and his determination would make him a great PR person. Shannon has a very friendly personality, he can call anyone and make them his best friend, and not every editor is easy to get through to, but Shannon finds his way. He has great connections and finds the best way to utilize them to enhance his client’s brand value. Additionally, he has a very positive vibe and his jokes really cheer up the team even on stressful days. We’re proud of you Shannon!
Career highlights
Born and raised in the UAE, Shannon Soans graduated from the American University in Dubai and pursued his Bachelor’s in Business Administration specializing in Management. After graduating from university, he joined a Multinational Company as a procurement coordinator for 3 years. He finally got an opportunity in a field that embraces his personality – PR. He joined in October 2022 and has been assisting clients such as At.mosphere, Armani Hotel, Cote De Azur Monaco and more! He even secured his first pop-up within the first month of joining the company. Shannon can be described as someone who loves engaging with people, football, volleyball, F1, gaming, sneakers, brunches and Manchester United.

Side hustle
I host my own events under the name Off The Record along with my partners at different clubs and lounges, the DJ’s we get play the best HipHop, R&B and Afrobeats.
