Campaign’s PR Faces to Watch 2026 – Mira Salameh, Account Executive, The Romans

Like a stray cat, Mira appeared at our window and we’ve been obsessed with her ever since. She has zero filter and contributes significantly to each and every single conversation happening, often simultaneously. She thinks like a veteran and works like a race horse.

Career highlights

My PR career consists of working across some of the region’s coolest brands, including global automotive, entertainment and beauty names. Before I joined the industry, I walked past an unfinished warehouse with The Romans logo painted across it and knew I had to work there.

With no PR experience, I cold-called, followed up, and repeatedly showed up at The Romans’ office in hopes of an interview. That persistence gave way to managing comms at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, alongside other major regional launches and ultimately ending the year being voted the Leaders Roman of the Year 2025.

Guiding principles

When it comes to PR and comms, and in my own personal life as well, I have come to find that persistence is what opens doors that talent alone cannot. In PR, momentum rarely happens instantly. It is built through consistency, strategic follow-through and the discipline to keep refining until the message lands.

Side hustle

Occasionally, I tutor English to kids back home in Syria, working with students from elementary school to university level. It keeps me tuned into how different people absorb information and strengthens my ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences.
