It has been a joy to watch Aaron develop from an intern into one of the most talented and capable PR professionals in the industry. Hardworking, dedicated and intelligent, Aaron always adds value to his clients’ business. His skill set is not just about his impactful storytelling, it is also about the way he approaches challenges at his level. He genuinely cares and is able to see the big picture. Always gracious, thoughtful and personable, and with by far the best analytical thinking I’ve seen, Aaron will collect fans wherever he goes and has a promising future within our industry.
I’ve been with H+K for the past 2.5 years, helping to launch brands in the region, execute award-winning campaigns and secure new business across enterprise and consumer domains. With our office acting as a regional hub, this has also given me vital exposure to working with teams across markets. Pushing beyond my comfort zone of content creation, I have also delved into fields such as data and insights, to develop integrated campaigns. Prior to joining H+K, I worked in the marketing and business development team for a UK-based accountancy firm, where I refined my creative skills and attention to detail.
How has Covid changed your job?
The pandemic caused upheaval for our clients, in terms of hosting events, managing launches and facilitating round-the-clock internal communications. It challenged us to expect unpredictability and be flexible. At H+K, we’ve been fortunate to have the right tools in place, enabling a seamless transition to remote and hybrid working.
I enjoy creating visual content – whether it be taking photos or capturing videos. A personal highlight was filming and editing my mother’s wedding video (in between piling my face with food)! While my experience has been on more of an amateur basis, I’m keen to explore this avenue further.
