Career highlights

I was in the top one percentile at high school and when I decided to study PR, I faced questions around this as a career choice, mainly due to a lack of understanding of the industry, from family and non-comms professors alike. I was able to completely change their minds and pursue my passion.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, I graduated with four Chancellor’s Awards for Academic Excellence, with the highest GPA amongst my in-take. My academic achievements paved the way for me to start my career with BPG’s training programme. I achieved three promotions in three years straight. I then joined Brunswick as an Account Director in 2018, a significant milestone in my career path and a highly rewarding learning journey.

Guiding principles

I’m driven by ‘grit’ – passion, perseverance and strong collaboration to realise my goals. I’m a firm believer that one can only work so hard if they find satisfaction in what they do. Inspired by the Brunswick culture.

Dream job

I don’t want a dream job; I want a dream career as an advisor, and I believe I am building this where I am. I aspire to become a trusted advisor for clients across the world as well as for colleagues. I was blessed to have mentors through my journey so far, and I believe I am in a position to do the same. I find it satisfying when I am able to help colleagues navigate the business world, just by listening to them and giving them a platform to have a voice.

Side hustle

My side hustle is spreading happiness and togetherness through the love of food. After every hectic day, I step into my kitchen and disconnect from the world. I find it incredibly satisfying to gather family, friends and even neighbours to enjoy a meaningful conversation over a hot, delicious homemade pizza.
