Campaign’s PR Faces to Watch 2020 – Diana Estupinan, Senior consultant, Instinctif
George Allen, associate partner, Instinctif: From the day she joined, Diana’s impact has been immense. Within nine months we were delighted to promote her to senior consultant, and she has since taken charge of the financial services and capital markets practice. What stands out is her focus on results, and first-class advice to clients. Diana can be relied upon in high-pressure situations, from IPOs to shareholder activism. Clients know they can rely on her to deliver, and the team know the support and knowledge she provides will put them on the path to growth. Diana is a mentor with wisdom beyond her years.
I started my career at H+K and now work at Instinctif Partners as a senior consultant. In recent years I’ve been involved in a number of IPOs across sectors including utilities, finance and healthcare. I have also worked with issuers across the region in improving their investor relations function and have supported asset managers, with campaigns recognised by MEPRA’s awards. Prior to my role at Instinctif I worked with Great Ormond Street Hospital on an initiative that gave children undergoing cancer treatment the chance to become superheroes. The campaign was immensely rewarding on a personal level, and was recognized by MEPRA, PRCA and PR Week.
Keep learning. I learned this from my family and it has been a principle my managers abide by. There’s always something new to learn.
I would like to lead an investor relations function one day. There’s so much an IR function can do for a listed company and so much that experience in communications can add to the function. It would be even better to be involved with a company undergoing an IPO process, in order to be active from the start and shape the function from the onset. On the side, I would love to be a children’s yoga teacher.
I’m currently working on obtaining my yoga certification in order to teach children. I have been doing yoga for many years, and after working with a children’s hospital as part of my job I saw first-hand how much children can benefit from yoga.
