Campaign’s Media Faces to Watch 2021 —Sarah Eid, Senior Media Manager, Category Lead, Spark Foundry
Nominated by Amine Abou Ajram, Group Account Director, Spark Foundry
Sarah Eid is a superstar with a passion for innovation and an impressive record of overachievement. Since joining the agency, she has been a driving force of big ideas and responsible for multiple awards wins. Her “can do” attitude makes her a joy to work with; no project is too big or too small for her. We are thrilled to be nominating Sarah for this year’s faces to watch; she definitely deserves to be on this list.
My career has mostly focused on the CPG category as I am particularly interested in marrying business performance with the reality of consumers’ daily lives. I started this journey on Mondelez (6 years ago) and have been on it since then, enjoying every milestone of it. I have worked across a variety of their brands, in particular, enjoyed launching Cadbury 5star in the Levant, which enjoyed a thorough strategic journey. I now lead multiple categories in the GCC, and it is fascinating to understand what unites global brand truths to local consumers, all about speaking local and personalizing.
Think bigger than you are. It’s about having no limits and understanding that anything in this world is possible if you put your mind to it.
Constantly yearn for more knowledge and stay curious.
Most importantly, have fun. Whatever you do, enjoy it and make the most out of it.
How has Covid changed your job?
I’m certainly more relaxed with the WFH approach, though it wasn’t easy at first. Technology has helped yet I miss the physical presence of a team. Virtual calls and long days made me fall into a routine which I hope we break one day with some days being at the office.
Photography is my best escape, especially during my travels. To share that passion, I have dedicated a page to post my photographs hoping to portray the beauty of the world the way I see it. I’m also into Luxury and Fashion marketing, PFW is where I dream to be at.
