With his keen eye for detail and empathetic approach to client relationships, Ihab has consistently delivered great work for the team as a whole. In a span of four years at PHD, I significantly contributed to rolling out more than 100 campaigns across several industries such as FMCG, automotive, retail, tourism, banking, real estate and consumer electronics, in varying geographical considerations (local in the UAE, regional across MENA and global across 40+ countries). I have evolved my role in the agency into becoming an integrated investment manager, shifting from traditional buying responsibilities into a more dynamic and holistic approach which includes client servicing, creating bespoke value-driven media packages and taking an active role in media audit and productivity reporting.
To succeed in a data-driven and tech-fueled industry, there should be a balance between technical/hard and soft skills so I can improve when it comes to critical thinking, creative problem solving, effective negotiation and communication, staying agile and applying good judgment.
How has Covid changed your job?
The pandemic made me become flexible in how I work, whether from home or at the office. I’m cognizant of keeping my productivity level high and maintaining effective and consistent communication with my colleagues. I also became more focused on looking after my health and wellness while at work.
