My first job in 2016 as a community manager at a local startup up in Lebanon introduced me to the world of digital data, its potential and essentially intrigued me to further my knowledge and pursue a career in this industry.
Joining Starcom upon arrival in KSA, I immediately completed all-digital certifications to strengthen my understanding and have been implementing learnings and approaches since.
Quickly rising to the occasion, I have actively participated and front lined the growth of Al Nahdi’s E-Commerce website that is now the leading Pharma/Retail website in the MENA, while also leading IKEA KSA/BAH digital transformation.
Learning to listen, pursuing my education on various fronts, learning something new every day from direct/indirect stakeholders and professional empathy are the main guiding principles that I pride myself on.
As Danielle Laporte once said, “If knowledge is power then curiosity is the muscle.”
How has Covid changed your job?
Covid has definitely rewritten the rules revolving around customer service and business requirements. Instant agility, innovation and adaption have to be successfully rolled out without fault to keep pace with the diversifying needs of customers and most importantly for agency people to be mindful of the greater consequence if you’re not fully invested in the clients business.
Music has always been an integral part of my life, I love the fact that it can trigger specific emotions in people. I enjoy playing music to people and seeing happy faces dancing.
