Abeer Lizzaik, associate business director, Publicis Media: Working with Haik for the past two years has been an exciting journey of progression and success. From a hard-core operational role to a well-rounded strategic thinker, Haik has proven that with the right attitude and mindset a person will only progress and help the business move forward. His commitment to delivering the best quality service to his clients was visible as he helped succeed in direct ROI on their toughest real-estate products. To me, watching Haik lead on his brands and team is an absolute pleasure.

Career highlights

One of the key highlights of my career so far is being part of four business pitches in a span of 2.5 months. I consider this both a professional and personal highlight mainly because it has helped me cultivate a business mindset as well as enhance my interpersonal skills. It might have been an overwhelming experience, but being asked to contribute to my agency’s success was worth it and is something that I’m most proud of.

Guiding principles

“Believe in yourself even when others don’t.” My ex-director (now mentor) told me this on my first day of the job.

Dream job

A dream job of mine would be to become a movie critic. I love movies and I enjoy dissecting scenes of any movie – for example, that door in the ocean could have easily supported Jack and Rose together.

Side hustle

I recently started recording podcasts. I usually talk about the lessons I have learned, how I feel about the current state of affairs, the different people I meet and movies of course. They are not available online; I hope to pass it along to my kids one day.
