Ramzy Abouchacra, CEO, Carat MENA: Ankita is a shining member of the team, helping to navigate one of our key clients, Microsoft, through a shift in strategic approach to deliver one of the our most successful campaigns to date. More recently, in response to current challenges, Ankita has worked collaboratively with the client and multiple publishers to support businesses and connect their employees remotely through the power of Microsoft’s collaboration tool, Teams. Her agile approach and strong relationships with both the client and publishers have ensured the campaign landed at a critical time to support and educate businesses.
I started my career six years ago with a leading publisher in the Dubai, followed my instinct on moving to an agency and am happy to have made that decision. My journey with Dentsu started four years ago when I joined Amplify, their buying arm, and moved to Carat two years later to manage Microsoft. I take a lot of pride in what we do at Carat – collaboration, agility and bringing award-winning campaigns to life is what we aim for. Over the years I have developed skills that guide me in strategic thinking and focus on delivering real value to the clients.
Be solution-driven. Obstacles and challenges are unavoidable; always focus your energy on finding a solution and getting past it. Acting fast and being tactful is key.
Innately, my dream is to launch a skincare line for women, one that is an amalgamation of science and age-old Indian traditions.
Outside of work, I’m enormously passionate about causes pertaining to child education and food safety. I’m actively involved in initiatives like Share the Meal and an active volunteer with Simple Education Foundation. I believe it is incumbent on us to give back to society to the best of our capabilities.
