Yara is very passionate about her work and has already in a short span since joining the BRF Team implemented successful marketing campaigns that positively contributed to brand equity and business results. As a “team player,” she always adds to each project great insights and her own personal experience.
“My top passions are brand building, food and cultural exchange. Thankfully, I managed to combine the 3 within my professional experience over the past 5+ years by working on brand strategy, communication and execution within the food industry in 3 different countries. A favourite achievement is helping ‘Sadia’ take a step closer in its journey from being a chicken brand to a food brand by venturing into a new category: Frozen Vegetables. This was supported not just with a 360 communication plan but also complemented with Sadia website launch with the aim of becoming a food inspiration platform for consumers.”

How has Covid-19 changed your job?
Joining a new company, getting onboarded and building a professional relationship virtually. Working in communication, I have to adapt to changing audience behaviour during covid times requiring me to be flexible and focusing on new mediums to reach them.
I have a goal of visiting 40 countries before I turn 30. Covid didn’t help but I am still optimistic. Travelling to different countries, wandering around in the streets, trying local cuisines and communicating with locals around is what inspires me the most.
