Beth Williams, Head of Performance Media, Merkle MENA: From the first interview with Sohail, it was clear that he was very driven and has ambitious career goals. Education and learning are key to Sohail’s career plan. With him almost completing his first Master’s Degree and already looking for his next challenge I’d love to see him win the scholarship with Heriot-Watt University. With very high-reaching career goals of becoming a leader at an early age, this course will help Sohail achieve his ambitions.
Sohail currently works as part of two of our biggest client teams and I’m looking forward to continuing to see him grow in his career!
I am currently working as Senior Associate-Paid Search for Merkle Mena. My expertise lies in managing all digital marketing products on Google for Web & App. Developing strategies, account optimizations & complex problem solving are some of my key skills. I have 3+ years’ experience in Digital Marketing across industries including Travel, FMCG, Telecommunication, eCommerce & Entertainment, and I’m glad to be a part the best large agency in MENA (MENA Search Awards 2021). I strongly believe in being empathetic, curious & self-starting, which helps me develop good relationships with my clients & colleagues.
I graduated as computer science engineer in 2018 and currently I am pursuing my master’s in business administration from University of Wollongong.
Be empathetic towards others, continuous learning, being informed & updated and to never forget the people who supported you. Work collaboratively, contribute to a social cause, and always respect your parents. Life is short, so don’t hold any grudges and aim to bring value to the society.
Apart from attending university during weekends, I like to invest in stock markets & stay informed about technologies, markets & economies. Knowledge sharing and supporting my friends is my secondary hustle.
