Sara Rabie, Brand Experience Strategy Director, Isobar: I have supervised Habiba for almost two years, during which time she has been a key member in our team. As a stand-out leader on a team full of high-functioning staff, Habiba seamlessly blends international standards of proficient management with a deep well of local cultural knowledge. It has been my privilege to supervise Habiba’s successful efforts to manage one of the most challenging accounts in the agency with an outmost dedication and exceptional intelligence.

Habiba excels at understanding complex situations, identifying the relevant stakeholders’ and developing strategies to manage those situations to achieve strategic goals

Career highlights

I started off my career by handling one of the biggest clients in the market: The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. I was thrust into the deep end by working on several large-scale projects such as the Pharaoh’s Golden Parade. These came with several challenges to overcome in my day to day to tasks, with little margin for error given the national importance. It was sink or swim for me, and I chose to swim. Dealing with such significant projects gave me a strong foundation and helped me grow in my field and as a person at an accelerated pace, allowing me to continue my career with confidence and purpose.

Guiding principles

“Just keep swimming!” (Finding Dory) We constantly face different challenges at work and in our personal life, but it is important to keep pushing and going. Sometimes we don’t know where we are headed but with a little perseverance, we’ll eventually reach our end goal.

Side hustle

I have a very strong passion for education, and I hope that one day I can be a university professor hoping to have a very small part in shaping the minds of the youth and fulfill my dream. For now, in my free time I tutor high school students in different subjects.
