Naveen Chacko Mathews, Head of Business Unit, Havas Media Middle East: Anastasia is unique in the way she delivers results and makes a statement every single time. A mix of a shock and awe strategy, she truly drives the business forward for the clients she works with. Ana currently manages the enterprise segment on ‘du’ telecom, a challenge in itself, finding the unique opportunities to talk to a varied B2B segment, and while this may sound mundane on the surface, she is the catalyst that challenges convention and redefines what cool is for B2B. Ana never shies away from going beyond the day to day, educating her clients on the latest trends and aspirations of the business community in the UAE and the region. Her passion for media is only belittled by her love for food and an attitude that never fails to bring a smile to people’s faces.

Career highlights

I started my career in media back in 2016 while doing my bachelor’s degree in business administration with UOWD. In addition, I used to give lectures to the younger generations during my spare time. Today, I am a Media Manager at Havas Media, Havas Middle East. You have probably heard of this saying: “People learn the most when teaching others”; this is what really inspires me and encourages me to give back to society.

Side hustle

I always wanted to work closely with animals, especially stray dogs. I believe that these animals really need our support and help to survive. I’m currently volunteering and helping at the stray dogs centre at Umm al Quwain during my spare time, and urge anybody who has time and would like to get involved to join us as there’s so much more we can all be doing.
