Covid did little to slow Mira down if anything it spurred her on to secure a series of key new business wins. She has raised her profile with the global MRM and MCN networks and now leads a series of global teams for a number of clients within her portfolio. In addition, her personal development has seen her expand her Martech and core platform knowledge and as she is always keen to learn she has used her time to secure certification where relevant including on salesforce. This wide knowledge base has resulted in Mira writing a series of thought leadership articles that have been published and very well received.
I am currently a Digital Account Director at MRM UAE where I manage global and regional brands like Johnson and Johnson, Tadawul (Saudi Stock Exchange), Honeywell, ITC, Samsung, and others. In my role, I lead the strategic direction to deliver digital ecosystems that enable my clients to grow meaningful relationships with their customers using the power of creativity, the beauty of data, the magic of technology, and the impact of connections.
I also lead HumanTech for MRM in MENA, which is McCann’s global innovation offering created to help brands play a meaningful role in people’s lives through innovation. It combines the power of design thinking and design engineering, to create never-before-possible solutions that solve human needs.
I am a true believer as well as an advocate for transparency, integrity and conscious inclusion where these guiding principles have been the beacon for my advancement personally and professionally. Especially nowadays, conscious inclusion is indispensable to foster a culture where people feel comfortable and equally valued at the workplace.
How has Covid changed your job?
As the Covid pandemic hit, we were forced to change the way we work almost overnight. Adaptability was the first challenge as we shifted to operating fully digitally. We had to reskill to thrive during an evolving business situation and find innovative ways to communicate while learning to be more empathetic to people we work with.
