Bio

I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the brilliant minds in this region to bring to life dynamic and creative digital campaigns. I started my marketing career in 2014 as a Junior Communications Manager and have successfully grown to my current role as a Digital Media Manager at PivotRoots.

My experience of working across different agencies and brands over the years have allowed me to grow in every aspect and support our clients’ requirements further.

In my current role, I am successfully wearing several hats, crunching numbers and building strategies to deliver an omnichannel approach across clients from various industries which include food tech, retail, banking, fashion and more for over 6 years.

The biggest achievement for me is to be able to successfully retain our clients. After all, they bring the good fortune!

Guiding principles

There are basic pointers I try to adhere to on a day-to-day basis. Just so it makes my and the team’s life a lot easier.

  1. Always have a written to-do list! So much can be skipped in the midst of a hectic day. While we have tasks on tasks piling up – nothing saves the day more than having a notebook and pen on the work desk.
  2. Breaks are so underrated – I burst into a minimum of 5-to-7-minute chant/meditation at least twice during working hours. Exhale & Inhale does wonders – 639HZ on Youtube is a saviour!
  3. Done is better than perfect!

How has Covid changed your job?

I am just getting to sleep on the job. Sounds fancy, isn’t it!

Having the flexibility of working from home or office is a blessing in disguise – reduces travel time, which is a bonus. In fact, the team remains more connected than usual through virtual calls.

Side hustle

Working through my brand @sew_dhagga, an intrigued numerologist (I’m always crunching numbers) and an occasional bedroom DJ.
