Terry Mo, director, performance, OMD UAE: Praveen is a digital chameleon who has made quick transitions throughout his career, from operations to programmatic and digital media. Every step of the way, he has impressed everyone with his ability not only to learn new skillsets, but also to adapt and combine these with his existing skillsets to become a truly well-rounded digital media specialist. He has successfully showcased this on every client he has worked across, from consultancy on challenging e-commerce brands to bringing life to FMCG brands across digital media. Praveen combines amazing attitude with amazing aptitude, and his clients benefit from his broad expertise.

Career highlights

I’ve been working in media for almost nine years. I kickstarted my career in YuMe Adverting, where I launched my first campaign on connected TV and later moved to become a DoubleClick product specialist, where I worked closely with Google handing the DoubleClick support team, allowing me to upskill my knowledge on digital and programmatic. This supported me to take up a challenging yet interesting role in OMD as a Performance Manager. In 2017, I was awarded the Advancing Technology on analytics and data by OMD. I worked across various industries including luxury, FMCG, government entities, travel and e-commerce.

Guiding princuples

The principles I try to follow are: “The roughest roads often lead to the top” and “Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see”.

Dream job

My dream job would be to start a training centre for dance and fitness.

Side hustle

For me it’s dance, either to be a choreographer or a trainer, which helps me mentally and physically. It allows me to develop innovative movements or to express my emotions in a form of art.
