Fadi Khater, founder and managing partner, Netizency: Ala’s key strength is her entrepreneurial spirit. She has a drive to get things done and is willing to go the distance to do so. She is extremely resourceful and will make sure that she self-educates and leaves no stone unturned before seeking help. She is able to analyse findings, identify trends and make recommendations across all industries by giving her full commitment and attention to the task at hand.
I developed an analytics department from the ground up. I did this by consuming hundreds of articles on big data, in addition to getting demos and trainings on most of the social analytics tool out there. I have also developed a weekly “trends” meeting whereby I share the latest trends, innovations, and platform updates around social media with everyone at the agency.
Other points of pride include being published in Campaign Magazine and The Arabian Marketer, as well as being shortlisted out of 214 submissions as Leo Intel, and conducting an analytics workshop in AUS for UAE government entities.
As cliché as it sounds, “What you feel, you attract.” I first came across it in the book The Law of Happiness, but have consistently validated it every day since.
Child education – anything to do with cultivating young minds and the future of this planet –academically, emotionally, and socially.
Does being a working mother count? Before that, I ran an Instagram book club, dedicated to discussing, analysing, and reviewing books.
