Working with Gunjan over the past three years has been incredible. Career highlights

Gunjan doesn’t just design brands – she builds conceptual worlds around them through deep research and understanding. Her strength lies in bringing exceptional maturity to every project, with work rooted in strategy and human insight. Since joining Yellow in 2022, she’s applied this to projects including learning Georgian history and cultural nuances for Eagle Hills’ luxury development – modernising heritage elements for international audiences; diving into Dagestani culture for UFC Champion Khabib’s Papakha restaurant; capturing Gen Z wellness trends for Barakat’s mocktails; and creating a Mediterranean-inspired identity for Twine restaurant, which won Hotel Restaurant of the Year 2025.

Guiding principles

I genuinely believe the best work comes from being passionate about understanding consumer behavior and what truly moves people – because that’s where real insights live. But what truly excites me is collaboration, taking in different perspectives from creative minds around me to create something meaningful.

Side hustle

Outside work, I’m curious about the detailed processes behind traditional crafts. Coming from fashion technology university, I got to work with various craftsmen practising basics of everything from block printing to basket weaving. I like to continue this passion through taking weekend sessions, learning candle making from scratch, pottery, etc.
