Rizek has become one of the most sought-after strategists in the Kingdom and a key growth driver for the Agency, landing a series of consecutive local, regional, and, most recently, a global win. A multi-taster at heart, Rizek easily leads on strategy, creative, copy, and even production when needed; for him, it’s always been about the work and end result. He leads by example and has a contagious energy, a winning drive, and a belief that he can and will. Those who get to work with him are lucky, and the industry would benefit from more like him.

 

Career highlights

Rizek started his career interning at BBDO and later joined Omnicom’s Portland Communications after graduating from the University of Exeter. Following his stint in London, Rizek returned to Amman with the ambition of taking Jordan to the global award stage and reminding the world that there’s more to Middle-East Creativity than just Dubai and Beirut. In just 8 years, he’s been behind some of the Agency’s most celebrated work, along with helping achieve a series of firsts for the Agency. He’s led strategy for Royal Jordanian Airlines, Capital Bank Group, and Zain Telecommunications & Unilever.

5) Always have a POV – challenge or champion.

 

Side hustle

Rizek does a little bit of everything but spends the majority of his time writing, managing his advertising blog, which has a 21,000 following, and mentoring. He was nominated to join Jordan Basketball Federation’s Brand Committee to support on the revitalisation and repositioning of the sport.
