Career highlights

As a Sudanese filmmaker and editor based in the UAE, Mohamed Khalil currently holds the position of Senior Videographer at Umami Comms DMCC. Over the past two years, he has edited and filmed more than 1,000 videos for over 30 clients, aiding in brand awareness. Khalil’s debut short film “Mara” earned a Best Short Film nomination at the 2020 Sudan Independent Film Festival, garnering international recognition. He contributed to the acclaimed feature film “You Will Die At Twenty,” available on Netflix, and co-directed and edited various projects, including a silver-winning short documentary.
