I have had the privilege of working with Amaka for nearly two years now, and I must say, she has consistently impressed me with her adaptability in working with various clients and her extensive connections in the market.

Career highlights

I am a third-culture kid—ethnically Nigerian and born in Kuwait. I’ve lived in the UAE for over 20 years and straddle two worlds—navigating the intricacies of my heritage and diverse cultures in the GCC.

 With 6 years working in consumer PR with Avli by tashas, Beefbar, One & Only Resorts, LXR Mango House Seychelles, Couqley, Indochine, and Cheval Blanc Maisons, my experience is expansive and adaptable.

Furthermore, I have managed corporate communications, strategic planning, and execution for Tashas Group, Waldorf Astoria New York branded residences, and UNOX Middle East.

Guiding principles

I am guided by my resilience, determination, and authenticity. Inspired by the rich cultural mosaic of the UAE, I find a deep sense of belonging and joyously celebrate the multitude of identities that contribute to the vibrant tapestry of our nation.

Side hustle

I find joy in exploring the world of fiction through novels and staying updated on the latest hospitality trends. In my free time, I like to go to the gym, whip up delicious dishes in the kitchen, and indulge in shopping, whether it’s online, in-store, or thrift store hunting!
