Nadine is a character in an industry that is losing its character.
Arts Journalist and Bookseller before being inspired by Don Draper to become an adwoman. My most recent achievement was to work closely with the digital strategy and content production team at Livingroom as well as the team at Forward PMX and our clients at Sun and Sands to create 72 pieces of tailored content. Taking the main idea and making content that worked specifically for Snapchat, Tik Tok, Twitter as well as the usual shorter formats for Youtube by building into the production before shooting rather than after.
Empathy, inspired intuition, and a calibrated dosage of romanticizing the world – combined together, are my assurance, my north star, and my survival kit.
How has Covid changed your job?
As a creative, when trapped in confinement, you could react in two ways – retract inwards or unlock your mojo. Surprisingly, it was the latter for me. Coming out of my cocoon into the world of desks and offices was quite the challenge.
Two years ago, as I was recovering from a massive loss, I rediscovered the cathartic joys of writing. This led me to complete my first collection of poems that examine how the urban landscape shapes heartbreaks. The book is on its way to publishing.
