Eli Gebrael, Associate Business Director, Media, Starcom: From handling a client without supervision to orchestrating efforts with the client to drive digital transformation and full message communication, Elio’s achievements include overhauling the client’s search strategy, working on a dynamic testing environment to help with planning, and automating different processes to help his team achieve effectiveness.

Career highlights

Making my way up from a media planner on the P&G account to a current single point of contact on the full portfolio for Search and member of the Starcom Strategy Council, my journey within the media industry has been nothing short of passion and commitment.

I currently co-lead on the digital transformation of the P&G account in the MENA region alongside Business directors and spearheads efforts in restructuring the client’s SEM and SEO efforts to ensure synergies within a One Search Framework for P&G.

Apart from my media career, I currently am pursuing my master’s degree in Media Studies with the American University of Beirut, where my research focuses on NFTs and their community’s power in driving behavioral change.

Guiding principles

“If you want something done, ask a busy person to do it” embodies my principles quite well. No matter how my day is, I try to make sure to get the job done and jump on whatever projects I deem are essential for my growth whilst keeping time for myself.

Side hustle

I am a copywriter of different sorts. From taking on PR copy work with governmental entities in the GCC to creative copy creation for brands based in Lebanon, I find another passion in the power of copy and its ability to influence perception and build brand equity.
