It’s been almost 3 years since I started working with Walid and he has been nothing but a great asset to the team.

Yes, he is creative in the way he thinks and writes but also reliable and structured in the way he works.

His creative approach always comes after a thorough research and understanding of the brand – leading to insight, rationale… strategy that he uses to build his creative direction on.

Walid has the creativity. The structure. The ambitions… to go places and he will!

Bio

With only 6 years of experience in the advertising industry, starting off as a junior copywriter to currently holding the position of a senior, I managed to take a creative lead on various international accounts (which were acquired pitches too), such as Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances, Always (P&G) and IFFCO (Asian Segment).

I was also part of the team on the #OU3A campaign which received a Bronze Award at the Mena Digital Awards – Dubai, and the creative orchestrator of the ‘Always Night’ and ‘Always Diamond Flex’ product campaigns which were named as Best Practices of 2019-2020 by P&G.

How has Covid changed your job?

If there is one sure thing the pandemic has done to my job, is accelerating its ever-promised transformation. We went from chasing the digital revolution train to being elevated to a whole new digital realm. Yes, the portals are still almost the same, but the game has redefined itself again.

Side hustle

Published and exhibited photographer at various renowned organizations, such as Sharjah Art Foundation, Gulf Photo Plus and Haven for Artists in collaboration with the Canadian Embassy in Lebanon. Additionally, featured by L’Orient-Le Jour and released in Cold Cuts Magazine, Bidayat Journal and commissioned by UY Studio – Berlin.
