Alisha is one of those rare designers who elevates everything around her. At Tales & Heads, she is the creative force behind some of our most impactful desks and brand assets, consistently delivering work that is slick, thoughtful and creatively sharp. Career highlights
Armed with an iPad that I refuse to abandon, I’m a multidisciplinary designer with seven years of consultancy design experience, now the in-house designer at Tales & Heads. What started as scribbling in notebooks has turned into a portfolio with the Government, semi-government, global brands and leading agencies. Collaborators include Dubai Economy and Tourism, F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Grand Hyatt, Dishoom, AFAQ for Leadership Development to name a few. While my specialisation lies in visual branding, I’ve evolved into an expansive designer with the honour of seeing my work across the internet and the offline world around us.
Guiding principles
A stickler for structure, I have befriended blank artboards, and a very colour coordinated calendar. Starting from scratch is key, followed by incessant scribbling, that turns into meaningful work.
Side hustle
I spent my childhood spotting shapes in clouds. Hearts were my favourite. I expanded my horizon to fruits, leaves, bricks, anything, and everything. I believe you are what you consume, and the world feels a lot nicer when you’re tuned to spot hearts everywhere. The heart and soul of my Instagram stories.
