A passionate, integrated communications professional with almost 20 years’ experience in the UK and across MENA, Rachel joined the Dubai office in 2008. In October 2018 she took over operational responsibility for the location, as a member of the new UAE leadership team.
Prior to her promotion, Rachel was Vice President in the consumer practice. During her time at the agency she has provided strategic counsel, training and guidance to a range of consumer and corporate clients spanning multiple-brands and markets, including Mastercard, General Motors, Abbott, Dubai Properties and Majid Al Futtaim Ventures. She also played a key role in securing and providing counsel to a prominent member of the UAE royal family, Jaguar Land Rover and Johnson & Johnson and has delivered senior executive coaching for clients such as the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management, Jumeirah Group and Nespresso.
Rachel’s nine years in London included roles at both large award-winning ad firms and smaller boutique PR agencies, with a client portfolio encompassing Indesit Company, SPAR and Unilever. She delivered award-winning work for Birds Eye, Habitat, P&G and Texaco and has broad experience of high profile launches and events such as London Fashion Week.
Rachel has a BA in Music from the University of Sussex in the UK and is currently learning Arabic. She is also a board member of The Marketing Society and Global Women In PR’s Middle East chapters.
