Pankaj Pagarani
Head of Data Sciences, Publicis Group
My life at Publicis
I’ve been part of the Groupe for over 17 years now, having worked across various functions on the media side of the business, before transition to help build and scale what is now the Data Sciences practice in 2016. From the start of 2020, I’ve led the Data Sciences practice for the Groupe in MENA.
Although my role gives me exposure across all the vertical areas that Publicis Groupe engages in, there has been a special focus on CPG, Travel & Tourism, Consumer Electronics and Automotive. Within these verticals, my remit has been focused on AdTech/MarTech, analytics, research, business intelligence and insights.
While I lead Data Sciences by profession, I’m really a marketeer and businessman at heart. So don’t be surprised if a measurement conversation takes a turn into your business and what can be done to make it future ready and sustainable.
My life before Publicis
Before joining Publicis, I was having the best time of my life at the Kelley School of Business in Indiana University – Bloomington, majoring in Marketing & Economics. I loved my academic experience so much that I went back to pursue an MBA at the Fuqua School of Business in Duke University, graduating in 2009. Prior to that, I did all my schooling in Dubai, surviving the Indian education system.
My life outside Publicis
While I’m Indian by birth, I’ve spent most of my life in the UAE and considering myself a Dubai-kid through and through.
I love my coffee and food, so hit me up if you want some seriously good recommendations on where to go out in Dubai for good coffee and good food. Outside of that, I love every minute I spend with my family, especially my 6yo (going on 16?) daughter and our Jack Russell Terrier.
